Have you been enjoying Broomfield’s Open Spaces?

Hasn’t it been great to have wide Open Spaces to go to during the past six months of staying closer to home? Broomfield has over 8,400 acres of Open Spaces and parks for us and our wildlife to enjoy, as well as over 300 miles of trails.  These are located in the center as well as in every corner of Broomfield’s many-cornered boundary.  For a map, click on the link below.

Broomfield Open Space Foundation (BOSF) works to protect, enhance and promote these spaces.  Since 2006 BOSF has been involved in not only acquiring lands to set aside for us and future generations to enjoy, but has also helped provide trails, benches, signage, nesting boxes, and educational fairs.

BOSF also works to bring our community together with the annual Pancake Breakfast, Fishing Derby, Trails Day, and Broomfield Brewfest.  Unfortunately, this year has been different…For the safety of all, we are not allowed to gather indoors.  Fortunately, we have our Open Spaces to gather at a distance outdoors!

Since BOSF has not had the opportunity to hold their usual fundraising events this year, please consider sending in a donation today.  It is a way of taking personal action to conserve our Open Spaces … especially now when we depend on them so much.

Thank you for your important time-sensitive donation.
