It’s getting cold outside!

It’s time to layer up when going out to enjoy Broomfield’s Open Spaces and Trails.  What will we see at this time of the year?  Perhaps …

…a variety of birds migrating through on their way south.

…the beauty of the changing trees and grass colors.

…angular shadows enhanced by the sun low in the southern sky.

…young coyotes defining their own territory or hanging out with parents.

…Red Tailed Hawks happy that the Swainson’s Hawks have gone south.

The Broomfield Open Space Foundation works to help provide these opportunities to the community by…

…financially supporting the signage erected to call to our attention what wildlife uses the Open Spaces for their habitat.

…providing speakers to explain the environment around us.

…working with the Open Space and Trails Advisory Committee to ensure these wonderful resources are maintained.

If you have already donated this year to the Broomfield Open Space Foundation, your donation is greatly appreciated.  Thank you!

If you have not yet donated, please consider how much you are using the Open Spaces now instead of the local gym, movie houses, or indoor museums.  Even in these much colder temperatures, Broomfield’s Open Spaces are still safe places to play and exercise.  Just remember to layer up!

Thank you.
