Fishing Derby is moving to the Spring for 2025! Interested in teaching the little ones in your life how to fish? Come to Broomfield’s annual Fishing Derby, co-sponsored by the Broomfield Open Space Foundation on Saturday, May 3rd from 8–11 a.m. at Tom Frost Reservoir. Children ages 6-12 will enjoy a one hour fishing session after a brief introductory fishing clinic. Any fish caught may be taken home along with their free fishing pole, goodie bag and a boatload of knowledge about fishing. Parent/guardian supervision and prior registration is required for the event, but there is no cost to participate. Please visit BREX to sign up for a Fishing Derby time slot.
