Open Space and Trails Speaker Series: “Great Outdoors Colorado: A Legacy of Conservation and Community Impact” With Josh Tenneson, Deputy Director of Great Outdoors Colorado (GOCO)

March 12 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

Great Outdoors Colorado (GOCO), established in 1992 through a voter-approved amendment, uses Colorado Lottery proceeds to preserve and enhance the state’s natural beauty. With over $1.5 billion invested in parks, trails, wildlife habitats, and community spaces, GOCO has made a significant impact on conservation and outdoor recreation across the state. Through its strategic investments and partnerships, GOCO has not only protected millions of acres of land but also enriched the lives of Coloradans. It serves as a example of how dedicated funding and community collaboration can safeguard our natural heritage while supporting sustainable recreation development. Join Josh and Broomfield OST to reflect on GOCO’s history and achievements, and celebrate its enduring mission to keep Colorado wild, beautiful, and accessible for all.

Please visit Broomfield Open Space and Trails Speaker Series for more information and to join the talk.
