- HistoryThe Broomfield Open Space Foundation (“BOSF”) was started in June 2006 by its founding members, Clark Griep, Rick Erickson, Ellie McKinley, Dan Wilkie, Patrick Quinn, Gordon McKellar and Kristan Pritz as the ex-officio representative from the City and County of Broomfield. Friday Kids’ Classes Friday Kids’ Classes are a fun introduction to the world around you. Learn about the natural world from a kid’s point of view with lots of hands-on activities. Call 303-464-5501 to register. Meet at the Broomfield Community Center. There will be a charge of $3 per child for each class. Age: 1st-6th grade
