We loved seeing so many community members—more than 350— for the third annual NatureFest at Metzger Farms to celebrate all things nature! Thank you to all of our nature loving participants including our awesome partners at the City and County of Broomfield Open Space & Trails and the City of Westminster, Broomfield Council members, and members of the Metzger family for coming out to this special event!

We welcomed over 26 organizations this year; they all brought energy, goodwill, and told their unique stories about their conservation missions.

We also want to thank those who made a donation to the Foundation and took home one of over 65 native plants! We look forward to next year’s event!

Wildlife, including this Cooper’s hawk, were a favorite for many attendees at this year’s NatureFest.
Biking was a popular transportation method for attendees this year. Bikers appreciated the bike racks, which filled up, so we plan to add more next year!
NatureFest visitors talk with folks from Grasslands Colorado, a nonprofit that supports biodiversity and works with landowners to save keystone species like the prairie dog.
