Let’s increase the presence of a keystone species, chokecherries, in partnership with and in honor of the Cheyenne, Arapahoe, and Ute people in the Broomfield Commons Open Space. Join the Sister Cities Gathering/Confluence, City and County of Broomfield, Broomfield Open Space Foundation, Butterfly Pavilion’s Urban Prairie Project Restoration Master Volunteers, and other open space champions from the community on May 4th from 9-12 pm. This event is FREE and open to all ages.
Bring gloves, wear sturdy close-toe shoes, long sleeves and pants, and bring water. We will provide tools and chokecherry plants.
We will meet at the Commons Trailhead parking lot off of Lowell at 12955 Lowell Blvd at the intersection of Westlake Drive and Lowell Blvd.
