Kids’ Fishing Derby: Registration is Required and Volunteers Needed

Fishing Derby is moving to the Spring for 2025! Interested in teaching the little ones in your life how to fish? Come to Broomfield’s annual Fishing Derby, co-sponsored by the Broomfield Open Space Foundation on Saturday, May 3rd from 8–11 a.m. at Tom Frost Reservoir. Children ages 6-12 will enjoy a one hour fishing session after a brief introductory fishing clinic. Any fish caught may be taken home along with their free fishing pole, goodie bag and a boatload of knowledge about fishing.
