- HistoryThe Broomfield Open Space Foundation (“BOSF”) was started in June 2006 by its founding members, Clark Griep, Rick Erickson, Ellie McKinley, Dan Wilkie, Patrick Quinn, Gordon McKellar and Kristan Pritz as the ex-officio representative from the City and County of Broomfield. Broomfield’s 2nd annual Migratory Bird Day Celebration! The event will be held in the Lakeshore room of the Broomfield Community Center and will feature live birds. The theme this year is pollinators, and the event will focus on the importance of pollinators and habitat on bird migration.
