- HistoryThe Broomfield Open Space Foundation (“BOSF”) was started in June 2006 by its founding members, Clark Griep, Rick Erickson, Ellie McKinley, Dan Wilkie, Patrick Quinn, Gordon McKellar and Kristan Pritz as the ex-officio representative from the City and County of Broomfield. These walks are designed especially for preschoolers and their guardians. Take a walk with naturalists through Broomfield’s open space areas. Learn about the animals and plants in your own backyard. Explore the area and learn about nature while having fun. There is NO CHARGE for these programs!
