NatureFest 2025 was an amazing free event held at Metzger Farmstead in August. The theme of the second NatureFest was a celebration of nature through storytelling, learning stations, arts and crafts while exploring open space. Over 250 people attended and over 20 partners joined us to celebrate nature.

We would like to give a heart-felt thank you to those partners: Bird Conservancy of the Rockies, City & County of Broomfield Wildlife Masters, Coyote Crew and Trail Ambassadors, City of Westminster, Plein Aire Painters, Bat Watch of Rocky Mountain Wild, People & Pollinators Action Network, Broomfield Bird Club, Rocky Mountain Wildlife Alliance, Colorado Monarch Ambassadors, Dark Sky Colorado, Harlequin’s Garden, Mike’s Plant Shack, Sister Cities Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes, Broomfield Nature Program, Spellbinders, Broomfield History, GRIT Teen Gardening Program, BOSAN-Broomfield Open Space Action Network, City of Westminster, environmental educators Martin Ogle and Korrinn Mallory, Butterfly Pavilion, CSU Master Gardners Broomfield Photography Club, and Colorado Native Plant Society. We were also honored to have a member of the Metzger family visit!

We hope to see you at NatureFest2026 next August!
