DESCRIPTION:BROOMFIELD KIDS’ FISHING DERBY\nEvery year\, the Broomfield Open Space Foundation\, in cooperation with the City and County of Broomfield and Colorado Parks & Wildlife\, sponsors a free Kids’ Fishing Derby for ages 6 to 12 years. Parent/guardian supervision is required. \nRegistration is required at B-REx.com \nThis year’s event will be held: Saturday\, May 4th from 8 – 11 a.m. at Tom Frost Reservoir\, Broomfield County Commons Open Space on Westlake Drive & Lowell Boulevard.\n \nRegister for a one-hour time slot at 8\, 9\, or 10 a.m. \nPlease park at the County Commons Open Space Trailhead (access from the west side of Westlake Drive & Lowell Boulevard) and walk to the pond. A brief introductory fishing clinic\, poles\, and bait are provided. Fishing poles and any fish caught can be taken home to keep the excitement going!

This is a wonderful opportunity for all ages to learn about hawks\, eagles and falcons. Join us Saturday\, March 2\, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. \nPsst\, and there is talk about a Bald Eagle (!!!!) but you didn’t hear it from me because it’s up to her if she want to join us or not.
