SUMMARY:“Trees along the Trails: Open Space Series: A Talk with a City Forester” with Nils Saha\, Broomfield City and County Forester and Jack Pritchard\, Broomfield Open Space and Trails Specialist
DESCRIPTION:From Bur Oaks to Narrowleaf Cottonwood\, today’s urban forest canopy denotes the human presence on the prairie landscape here in Broomfield. Join the Open Space and Trails Department for a conversation with the new City and County Forester\, as we mark the annual celebration of Arbor Day – And Broomfield’s 33rd year as a “Tree City\,” along with a summary of the History of Arbor Day itself. Trees provide us much more than you might guess! \nNils Saha is the City and County Forester in Broomfield. She joined the department in November 2021.
